Employee Orientation success story

Client: Privately held designer and manufacturer of custom motorcycle equipment.

Need: World class human resource program, including an orientation and retention plan for all employees. This manufacturing operation has a need for employee communications to be available in both Spanish and English. Company policies and procedures were not clear to everyone and the communications procedure needed improvement and clarification.

Result: The Human Resource Store presented a bilingual, employee driven (see The Driver's Seat) orientation package which clearly states the company mission and vision, expectations, benefits information and who to contact for a range of information. Since the need was to familiarize both existing and new people with company information, the orientation plan was immediately implemented with all employees, and is now issued to new hires as they come on board.
